Day 1: Kampala to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your hotel or place of residence and drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains. The afternoon, you will have a guided walk in the crater lakes area. An amazing experience

Dinner and Overnight at Kyaninga Lodge or a similar lodge

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking at Kibale - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Kibale headquarters, where you will have a short briefing. Afterwards set off for a forest walk in search for chimpanzees. The walk will be guided to offer you the information about the forest, the chimpanzees, primates and other organisms within the forest. Other animals to be spotted include Colobus monkeys and Grey cheeked Mangabeys

After the chimp trekking drive to Queen Elizabeth ready for an evening two hour Boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel where you will have the opportunity to see Bufallo, Hippo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs and many more.

Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or similar

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi
After breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive at along Kasenyi and Queens Mile where you will ecounter elephants, water bucks, buffalo, warthogs, Uganda Kobs lakes, lions and a variety of birds. Afterwards drive through the Ishasha Sector, which takes takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment. If you have enough time you can take mini game drives in Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions. Later proceed to Bwindi forest National Park

Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge or a similar lodge

Day 4: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

On this day, you will have an early morning breakfast, to give you the energy for trekking. After breakfast proceed to the trekking starting point which starts at 0800hrs with a short briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority. Ensure to carry all the requirements you may need for trekking such as drinking water, rain jacket, snacks, jungle boots etc. The guide who will be assigned to you will lead you into the jungle in search of the shy primates. You will be put into groups of a maximum of 8 people. Remember to carry your lunch boxes and all the required gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.

Mountain Gorilla Tracking takes between one to six hours depending on where the gorillas are located. In the afternoon you will proceed for a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk will give you the opportunity to interact with the people living around Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This is another way of supporting the local people directly.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs/Buhoma Lodge or a similar lodge

Day 5: Depart Bwindi- Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, check out and depart for Entebbe with lunch en-route. You will have a stopover at Igongo cultural centre to explore the lifestyle of the Ankole and Bahima. Later proceed at the Equator Uganda before departing to Entebbe Drop off at the airport or reserved hotel.

Flying option
For clients who would like to fly instead of the long hours drive can opt to fly from Bwindi to Kampala or Entebbe. The flight takes approximately 2 hours. One can fly from either Kisoro airstrip or Kihihi Airstrip to Entebbe

From Kihihi to Entebbe Departing 0945 arriving 1125
From Kisoro to Entebbe Departing 0910 arriving 1125
OR with an afternoon flight Departing 1405 arriving 1555
